Kaveree Bamzai is a prominent independent journalist and the first woman to hold the editor position at India Today, where she worked until January 2019. With over 30 years of experience, she has held roles at The Indian Express and The Times of India. She is the author of The Three Khans and the Emergence of New India, No Regrets: The Guilt-Free Woman's Guide to a Good Life, Bollywood Today, and monographs on women in Indian cinema. Bamzai has served on numerous committees, including the Women Exemplar Committee of CII, and has been recognized as a changemaker by Save The Children. She is a well-known speaker, having appeared at TEDx, CII and FICCI conferences, and major literary festivals like Jaipur Literature Festival.

Currently, she curates high-profile events such as The New Indian Express' ThinkEdu Summit, the Odisha Literary Festival, Devi Awards, and ABP Network's Ideas of India. Bamzai contributes to Open magazine, and serves as Head of Advocacy for The Infravision Foundation, an infrastructure think tank. A graduate of Delhi School of Economics, she is a Chevening Fellow and recipient of the MSA Rao Award for Academic Excellence.
